Types of Retreats and Duration

Wild View Retreat offers two types of week-long retreats that focus on nutrition, yoga, fitness and wellness: retreats that offer only vegetable and fruit juices as well as soups known as ‘juice fasting’ or ‘juicing and nutrition’ retreat weeks and retreats that offer mainly plant based meals known as ‘healthy food retreats’.

Guests can chose to book any type of retreat available on our website. Wild View Retreat welcomes any human being regardless of race, gender, faith, religion, lifestyle choices and dietary preferences, as long as they have an open mind and are kind and considerate to other people and the planet. Please note the retreats are not suitable for children, all guests must be 18 years or over and younger than 75 years of age. Wild View Retreat reserves the right to cancel any booking at any time if we discover the age of the guest is not within 18-75 years of age and the guest will not receive a refund.

What is included and not included on each type of retreat is available on the website and also listed below. On each retreat, guests are to arrive from 5pm-1030pm on arrival day in time to start the programme early the next day. Guests should not arrive late on subsequent days only with approval from Wild View Retreat. Guests must leave the retreat on departure day by 1030am unless they are staying to participate in a second week.

Juice Fast Retreats

Guests will be given three nutritious juices per day and a warming soup in the evening. The juice programme has been designed to encourage detoxification whilst providing sufficient nutrients and calorie intake to participate in a busy daily programme of guided walks, yoga and fitness classes. On Friday the day before departure, guests will have the option to break the fast with samples of food made in a workshop environment with the nutritional therapist. All guests should be fit and well to participate in the week and have declared themselves fit and well and signed the health form waiver. Guests should not book this retreat if they have any eating disorder issues associated with being underweight and require additional sustenance / calories other than that provided in the juices and soup during the week. Wild View Retreat reserves the right to cancel any booking at any time if we discover the guests is unfit to participate in the retreat and the guest will not receive a refund.

All Other Wild View Retreats

Guests will receive three light meals a day to encourage detoxification and cleansing. The meal plan will be designed by a nutritional therapist to provide the right balance of macro and micronutrients to support the guests, at the same time avoid the overindulgence of calorific foods. There is no caffeine provided. Alongside the main programme of activity, talks and cooking demonstration to inspire and educate on food and lifestyle choices will be given by a nutritional therapist. Our aim is to ensure guests eat well-balanced highly nutritious meals so that they go home feeling light and full of energy not in a food coma needing another holiday.
