HEALTHY FOOD & YOGA RETREAT
A week of yoga, delicious nutrient-dense healthy meals, guided walks, fitness and movement classes, nutrition talks and wellness workshops to completely restore balance back to your body, mind and soul.
All meals are plants based with balanced protein, fat and complex carbohydrates, refined sugar free, gluten free and dairy free. Note in 2024 we will be offering optional light amounts of animal protein in the form of chicken, fish and eggs on the side for some dishes for those who prefer it.
This 7-night break will enable you to step out of the busy-ness of life and into a space of natural calm where you can rebalance, refocus and regain your strength of mind and body.
Set amidst the spacious mountain wilderness of the Algarve, you will find a tranquil space where you can slow down, switch off and enjoy being led on a journey of Optimal Wellbeing.
You will be fuelled with delicious ‘portion controlled’ healthy meals to ensure you return home energised, cleaner and lighter. You’ll take part in 2 yoga classes a day that are suitable for all levels, spectacular walks, light fitness classes to enhance your physical health and be inspired with our new programme of nutrition and wellness talks to bring more equilibrium in to your everyday life.
And of course there is a plenty of time for rest and relaxation by the pool and massage available on site for an extra fee.
We believe radiant health starts with a healthy gut so our chefs prepare meals that use nutritious, nourishing real whole food ingredients with a focus on keeping things simple but using vegetables in a fun creative ways so you never feel bored or deprived. Please note meals will be portioned controlled and not buffet style to ensure guests receive the optimal level of nutrition and calories each day.
We cater nutritious plant based, gluten free, dairy free and refined sugar free meals. We are unfortunately not able to cater for major intolerances, FODMAPs, fructose intolerance or diets that require separate meals to be made. Please contact us before booking if you are unsure. Note we are offering optional chicken, fish or eggs for some meals now however you can choose to keep your meals solely plant-based if you prefer.
You must provide any intolerances or dietary requests on the health form no later than 4 weeks before the retreat date, if you fail to do so we reserve the right to cancel the place and issue a refund. This is so we have all the necessary information in advance to assess if the retreat is appropriate for you. We will not be able to cater for any dietary requirements if you do not disclose all information on the health form in advance. Thank you for understanding.
