Wild View Retreat Covid Retreat Policy
All our retreats will be operating as normal to ensure everyone has a relaxed and fantastic experience on the retreat. To be able to do so, all Wild View Retreat staff are required to provide evidence of a negative test on the day the retreat starts regardless of vaccination status.
All guests also need to provide evidence of a negative Lateral Flow Antigen test on the day the retreat starts taken within 48 hours of arrival regardless of vaccination status. This can be done using a standard over the counter lateral flow test kit and a photo of the result shown to WVR staff on arrival or sent via email on the day if you are already in Portugal. If you do not have one or have not done this we have some spare ones you can use before you enter the retreat but it would be easier if you do it yourself before you arrive. This way there will be no restrictions to our programme and the use of face masks are optional yet social distancing will be respected.
Current Government Travel Requirement for Portugal
Travelling from the UK
If you are travelling from the UK please check the UK Government FCO website for requirements to enter Portugal:
At the time of writing (Oct 12 the 2021) travellers from the UK to Portugal no longer need to take a C19 test to board a plane to Portugal or returning to the UK if they have been double vaccinated within 14 days of travel.
If you have not been double vaccinated you need to provide evidence of a negative Government approved Lateral flow Antigen test within 48 hours of departure. This can be done from the comfort of your own home for about £23-40 or at many of the leading airports a few hours before your flight.
All guests regardless of departure country, are required to fill in the Portugal arrival passenger locator form:
Please use this address for your locator form:
Corgas Bravas, Rua da Cortica, Alportel, Sao Bras de Alportel, 8150-040
As Portugal is on the Rest of the World List, all U.K. travellers also need to book a PCR Day 2 test to do for when you arrive into the U.K. regardless of whether you have been double vaccinated or not, and it needs to be done within 2 days of arrival and the booking reference code added to your U.K. passenger locator form. If you have not been vaccinated you need to isolate for 10 days and do another PCR test on Day 8.
You will need to complete the UK passenger locator form found here:
